Your role will include:
- Communicating with the relevant people and following personalised care plans to ensure the specific needs of individuals with complex mental health and behavioural challenges are met
- Providing emotional and practical support to individuals in managing their mental health
- Assisting with activities that encourage social interaction, community access, and personal growth
- Offering meal preparation and assistance, considering dietary needs and preferences
- Supporting with medication management, ensuring all care protocols are followed
- Assisting with finances and promoting independence where possible
- Helping with mobility and moving & handling using appropriate equipment (training provided)
- Providing personal care to promote hygiene and dignity, where necessary
- Keeping accurate records of care provided, ensuring the needs of each individual are met
- Supporting individuals in developing positive coping strategies and resilience
