Understanding home care, understanding you
With domiciliary care, you or your loved one can continue to stay in the place you feel most comfortable: at home. We provide either short term or ongoing support that’s completely built around your needs and routines. Many families are opting for domiciliary care – otherwise known as care at home or home care – because it puts them back in control of the support they receive. We offer one-to-one personal attention and build a care plans that’s right for you and that helps you to live as independently as possible in the place you love.
With Fosse we offer a number of different services ranging from as little as 30 minutes per week to several visits per day or 24 hour care where we supply someone living with you at home, or maybe support overnight when you may need it most.
Right staff, right service
All of our carers are required to attend a classroom based training across a number of days, during which we address a wide ranging set of topics such as moving and handling and medication management to ensure that we provide consistently excellent care. We also select carers that represent our values well, we will endeavour to understand your needs and carefully match you with someone who fits your personality, cultural needs and interests.
We are registered with the CQC in England, we also undertake monthly quality assurance audits including monitoring on the services we offer and our recruitment procedures.
How it works
Firstly, a member of your local branch team will respond to your enquiry to find out a little more about your requirements, you can either phone us or visit one of our branches. We would then book in a visit for a Home Care Assessor at a time that’s convenient for you. Our Home Care Assessors are highly experienced in tailoring care services to your needs, and are more than happy to discuss any concerns or requirements you may have.
Then we’ll go through all the options available to you and show you a little about how we work so that you can understand how our leading-edge technology and local branch teams will support your care.
Once your care plan is agreed, we’ll arrange regular reviews with you to ensure that your needs continue to be met and address any changes in your requirements or preferences.
