Home Care Expo 2021 | Director, Volt Sacco, talks about the future of Social Care
Our Managing Director, Volt Sacco, was a guest speaker at this years Home Care Expo at Birmingham’s NEC Arena. Talking alongside our partners and industry software leaders, Birdie; Volt spoke about how our collaboration is inspiring a new era of domiciliary care.
The Home Care Expo is the UK’s most dynamic event for the home care sector focusing on the discussions, initiatives, technology, products and services that can progress and reinvent the home care industry.
Volt talked in depth about the care sector, discussing the major challenges healthcare providers have faced in recent times, as well as the positive trajectory he see’s for the industry and Fosse Healthcare. Speaking collaboratively with Birdie, Volt focused on the incredibly positive results from our new ‘Early Deterioration Project’. The initiative uses creative technology to allow care workers to successfully identify preliminary signs of health deterioration and communicate this effectively to a GP.
“The blend of high contact frequency, readiness of data and high care continuity comes together to place domiciliary care in a strategic place within the health & social care. Being able to identify health risks early on through data and technology and being able to communicate that with a GP is a real win for all parts of the system.” – Volt Sacco, Managing Director at Fosse Healthcare
