Fosse Healthcare nominated for four awards at the Great British Care Awards 2019
Three of
our Grantham Care Workers and our Fosse Training Manager, Debbie, have been
shortlisted for the East Midlands regional heat of the Great British Care
Awards, 2019.
The Great
British Care Awards is respected within the industry as a celebration of
excellence across the UK care sector. The annual event is split between nine
regions and consist of twenty-one awards categories representing care staff
from across social care.
This year
Fosse Healthcare workers; Ndidi Oladele, Nigel Gwyther and Samantha Gray have
all secured a shortlist position for the influence and impact they have had on
the care sector community and the lives of their clients:
Ndidi Oladele has been shortlisted for Home Care Worker Award, awarded to Home Care staff who consistently provide a quality, caring service for people living in their own homes.
Nigel Gwyther is in the running for the Dignity in Care Award, a celebration of those who strive to maximise client independence and choice, while respecting and maintaining privacy and dignity.
Samantha Gray will be up for the Palliative Care/End of Life Award for her support and professionalism for clients who are at the end of their life, as well as their family and friends.
Grantham Branch Manager, Lisa Goodacre, said, “We are incredibly proud to see our Care Workers nominated at this fantastic event. All three are so deserving of the recognition for their continued and unrelenting hard work and dedication not only to their jobs, but to the clients they work with.”
Also
shortlisted for an award is Fosse Healthcare Training Manager, Debbie
Weightman, who has been shortlisted on behalf of the Fosse training team for the
Workforce Development Award.
Managing Director, Volt Sacco, commented, “Debbie and her team have made such a huge difference to our recruitment process over the past couple of years; their encouraging and professional attitude and memorable training style make our trainers fantastic brand ambassadors for those beginning a career with Fosse.”
The East
Midlands regional awards gala evening will be hosted on Friday November 1st,
at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham.
