Our rate of pay and hours
Our care staff are paid up to £10 per hour, depending on location and experience. We pay all travel time between calls and mileage costs on top and offer flexible working hours – from 0-hour to fixed contracts of up to 40 hours – depending on your availability.
Our care plan system is entirely paperless, so we provide all carers with a free smartphone to be used to monitor and update care plans and calls. We understand you won’t want to carry two phones around all day, so we make allowances for personal calls and texts as part of your contract.
Free in-house training and support
To be a carer you need passion, patience and a caring, pleasant attitude; what you don’t need is years of studying at university or previous experience! As long as you exhibit the attitude we’re after we can train you in everything you need to be a confident, capable Fosse Carer. We also offer additional courses and qualifications to our staff to help you develop professionally throughout your career.
Our staff are all enrolled into the company pension scheme and are entitled to up to 28 days of holiday a year. Some of our service users require care 365 days a year, so we make sure our staff still get the entitlement if they choose to work a bank holiday or two.
