Russell Hardy

Executive Chairman

Russell Hardy acquired Fosse Healthcare in 2014. Russell, an economist and accountant by training, has spent the last seven years of his career in the Healthcare market working with NHS, private equity and commercial providers.

He is currently Chairman of Nuffield Health, the largest provider of integrated healthcare services in the UK, and is Chairman of South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. He was previously Chairman of the leading orthopaedic hospital The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Foundation Trust.

Russell is committed to providing the highest quality healthcare services possible. He believes that long term success and improved patient outcomes depends on the quality of people, their commitment and their development. He acquired Fosse to help it develop into the leading provider of healthcare staff in the UK.

Volt Sacco

Group Business Development, Technology & Innovation Director

Volt joined Fosse Healthcare in February 2017. For the last 10 years, he has worked for one of the largest U.S. bank leading a number of technology and business development initiatives, prior to that Volt held leadership positions across a number of industries from healthcare, engineering, telecoms and technology consulting.

Volt is registered with a number of change management professional bodies having achieved his Masters in 2012 with the University of Manchester and holding professional certification with PRINCE2, PMI, APM, Agile Coach and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Sabrina Sacco

Group Operations Director

Sabrina has worked at a senior manager level in the Homecare industry for 15 years. Prior to joining Fosse Healthcare Sabrina worked for the 3rd largest Domiciliary care provider in the country, with operational responsibility for multiple branches across the Midlands region, delivering around 20,000 hours of homecare a week to people in their own homes.

Sabrina was a registered manager for a large Nursing & Domiciliary Care Agency based in Derby for 10 years, managing multiple NHS and care home contracts across the East Midlands as well as growing the homecare division to 4000 a week.

Peter Chessum

Founder - Fosse Adprac

Pete is an internationally recognised leader in advanced practice, with over eight years experience working as an autonomous clinician in both Acute Medical Units and Emergency Departments.

Pete has a strong academic background having completed NIHR projects, and working as a visiting lecturer at several universities within the midlands area, he is known for teaching anything from concept analysis to clinical examination at M-level. Aside from his work with ‘ADPRAC’ Pete is focusing on his aim to become the first Consultant ACP in the country.

Greg Markham

Founder - Fosse Adprac

Greg has 14 years’ experience within the pre hospital setting, his enthusiasm and drive have seen him repeatedly promoted within the Ambulance service before making the switch to become an ACP within a large NHS trust.

Greg is no stranger to teaching or training as a Clinical Educator within the paramedical service he was responsible for the training and development of around 200 staff.

As a director of ADPRAC Greg brings with him not only pre-hospital experience and medical events management, but also a reputation for hard work and solid clinical decision-making. His educational reputation has seen him lecture nationally on varying advanced nursing, paramedical and clinical modules at both under and post graduate levels.

Professor Mike Barnes

Advisor to Chairman

Mike Barnes is a Professor of Neurological Rehabilitation and a trained consultant Neurologist and Rehabilitation Physician. During his career Mike has held positions within in many organisations. He has been a Chief Executive within the NHS as well holding senior academic posts, mainly at the University of Newcastle. He founded the International Centre for Neurorehabilitation at Walkergate Park in Newcastle upon Tyne. He was the Founding President of the World Federation of NeuroRehabilitation and remains on the Executive Board. He has also been President of the British Society of Rehabilitation Medicine and is currently chair of the United Kingdom Acquired Brain Injury Forum (UKABIF). Mike began Fosse Rehabilitation Services because he passionately believes in high quality rehabilitation care and with very few, if any, Nursing Agencies specialising in this field Mike believes there is huge gap in the market for its services.
